Professional Experience and Training:
Post Doctoral Fellowship for Two years at Max Planck Institute of Immunology,
Solubilisation of Uranium from the low grade ores of Uranium using microorganisms.
Isolation and purification of Asparaginase, (an enzyme used in the treatment of leukemia) from Erwinia caratovora.
Coupling of the Asparaginase enzyme to serum albumin with glutaraldehyde to increase its biological half life so that it remains in the circulation for long time to mere efficiently degrade asparagines from blood.
Polyvalent Salmonella vaccine was developed using irradiated cells of the different Salmonella species. This vaccine gave complete protection in mouse model against

Radiation induced detoxification of endotoxin (LPS) of Salmonella. Studied the macrophage activation by the detoxified LPS.
Prepared vaccine against ascites tumor cells by coupling the ascites cells(Sarcoma 180) to LPS and Con A through glutarladehyde. This vaccine offered 100% protection against the challenge of ascites tumor cells in mice.
